Celleration^®, Inc. Receives Award at the Ultrasonic Industry Association‘s Annual Meeting for the MIST Therapy^® System 5.0 Wound Treatment Device

Eden Prairie, MN, April 12, 2005 - Celleration was awarded the first annual Best Application Award by the Ultrasonic Industry Association (UIA) at its annual meeting held in Las Vegas, Nevada on March 14 and 15 for its MIST Therapy System 5.0. MIST Therapy is a wound care product designed to impact key areas of the wound repair process which last summer was cleared by the FDA for sale in the United States. MIST Therapy produces a low intensity ultrasound generated mist; MIST Therapy is intended for the cleansing and maintenance debridement of wounds. Treatments take only minutes and wound improvement can often be seen within just a few treatments. The product is being commercialized throughout the United States with a focus on world-class wound care centers whose emphasis is wound closure and positive patient outcomes.

Tom Kirkland, President of the UIA, bestowed the award on Eilaz Babaev, Celleration‘s Chief Technology Officer and the inventor of MIST Therapy, at the UIA award ceremony. Michael T. The intellectual property law firm of Carter DeLuca Farrell and Schmidt, LLP has obtained several patents for the proprietary wound care technology known as MIST Technology™ in conjunction with Eilaz Babaev. Carter DeLuca has amassed a significant patent portfolio for Celleration‘s MIST Technology which utilizes ultrasonic sound waves to produce an energized mist of sterile saline in a non-contact fashion. The patented MIST Technology covered by U.S. Patent No. 6,569,099 and several other patents and pending patent applications is incorporated in Celleration's core product, the MIST Therapy™ System 5.0.

Celleration, Inc. a privately held medical device company was founded in 1999, to develop and commercialize therapeutic ultrasound platform. The patented MIST Technology utilizes low intensity ultrasonic sound waves to produce an energized mist of sterile saline in a non-contact fashion.
